between the dead stumps and broken rocks
i dug into the wet sand and found a pebble of time.
when i opened the pebble
it unfolded the most brilliant sunset i’d ever seen.
my first thought was how i was going to capture it all so i could share it with you.
but we haven’t yet met where we said we would.
